Produced in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, one of Japan’s leading leather-producing regions. Backed by generations of leather-making expertise, each hide is carefully finished to bring out the natural character of the material.

Our Commitment to the SDGs

The leather used by RATLIE is produced by a Japanese tannery that not only gives new value to hides generated as a by-product of the meat industry, but also approaches leather-making with the future in mind.

The tannery donates a portion of its leather sales to support children’s cafeterias in Japan, contributing to the food, well-being, and smiles of the next generation.

RATLIE shares this philosophy and has chosen to use this leather.
